The problem
Dispatch relied on phone calls and screenshots, which made it hard to know where a delivery stood.
What we did
- Built iOS and Android apps from one React Native codebase.
- Created a job list, status updates and photo proof of delivery.
- Wrote an API so the dispatcher dashboard and app share one source of truth.
- Tested with a small group of drivers before wider rollout.
The outcome
- Dispatch sees delivery status without calling.
- Proof of delivery is stored with the job.
- One codebase to maintain.
